Hi, I’m David Bennett — interior designer, problem solver, and the person behind the posts here on DailyDwell.
For the past 15+ years, I’ve worked with homeowners, renters, and small-space dwellers to help make their homes more livable — not just prettier. My background is in kitchen design and residential layout planning, but what I really love is finding practical ways to make everyday spaces feel better.
I’ve had the chance to work on a wide range of homes — from tight city apartments to full kitchen remodels in family houses. My design work has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, Architectural Digest, and local style journals, but this blog is where I share the side of design that doesn’t get edited for magazines: the real stuff.
What I Believe
I started DailyDwell because I wanted to make home design more approachable.
I believe:
- A kitchen doesn’t need to be huge to be smart
- A bedroom doesn’t need to be fancy to feel restful
- Most of us are just looking for small changes that make daily life smoother
You won’t find clickbait lists or trends that fade in six months here. Everything I share comes from my own work, tested ideas, or real homes I’ve worked on.
